Unfortunately, the only thing that keeps me knocking on doors are those little shots of hopium. Pete Buttigieg rallied the troops in our town this morning. But I do try to remember that it’s just hopium.
There’s nothing more alarming to me than encountering someone who has absolute certainty. The older I get, the fewer things I find fit into a tidy binary model.
